An injured Savar tragedy victim, who was struggling for life in a bed of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital, succumbed to his injuries early Wednesday.
Selim (full name not known immediately) was an inhabitant of northern Panchagarh district of the country.
He was admitted to the hospital several days before following the collapse of Rana Plaza.
On April 24, the nine-storey Savar building housing five garment factories, a branch of Brac Bank and a shopping mall collapsed, trapping several thousand people, mostly garment workers, inside it.
The death toll now stands 402. So far, 2,437 people were pulled out alive from the debris of the building.
Rescuers gave up hope of finding any more alive as the tragedy stepped into eighth day on Wednesday.
