Bangladesh women win silver in Asian Games cricket
Bangladesh women won the silver after losing to Pakistan by four runs in the final of the Asian Games Women’s Cricket today.
Pakistan women put up a total of 97 runs on the board after choosing to bat first at Incheon of South Korea.
The match was later shortened due to rain and the Bangladesh women were set a target of 43 runs within seven overs by Duckworth-Lewis method.
Bangladesh women lost nine wickets to manage 38 runs within the allotted overs.
Rumana Ahmed and Farhana Hoque were the highest run scorers at 10 runs each. Sana Mir, sadia Yousuf and Nida Dar claimed two witckets each for Pakistan.
