Bangladesh High Commission in Delhi to hold dance programme
On the occasion of International Mother Language Day (February 21), Bangladesh High Commission in Delhi, India has organised a cultural event at the auditorium of the mission in Delhi on February 21. The event will feature a dance recital by a Bangladeshi dance troupe “Srishti Cultural Centre”.
Troupe leader Anisul Islam Hero, accompanied by three artistes – Sabrina Nisa, Tamimul Haque and Kaspia Punni – will perform at the programme. The dancers will also give performances set against a poem “Ami Joddha Hobo”, composed by Deputy High Commissioner in Delhi Mahbub Saleh. Bangladeshi High Commissioner in Delhi Tarik A Karim will be the chief guest. Other diplomats and eminent Indian dignitaries will be present at the programme.
