3 Bangladeshis killed in UAE car crash
Three Bangladeshis were killed and two others injured in a road accident in the UAE yesterday morning.
The dead are Farhad Hossain of Hathazari; and Aktar Hossain and Muhammad Ilias of Raozan in Chittagong.
The injured are Belal and Saiful.
Arman Ullah Chowdhury, counselor (labour) at the Bangladesh Embassy in the UAE, said the accident took place when the Bangladeshis were going to work in a car.
The car hit a road divider in Al Khazna area of Al Ain, he added.
Arman said they had contacted the families of the deceased. The bodies would be sent to Bangladesh following due procedures, he added.
