Gourmet salad at its best

Anyone who is going to exclaim in repulsion when they hear 'salad' has clearly been brought up wrong! On its own or as a side for your meal, salads are always a great to look forward to; be it a fancy salad you serve on the weekends,

Summer refreshers

The heat is unbearable this year; whenever I am out in the open, my skin feels like it's burning red.

Packed lunches for children

Tiffin breaks are crucial, mostly because your child will remember them forever! Packing the same lunch every day of the week can become dull.

Fish Favourites

For as long as I can remember, I loved fish. When I complain about chicken, I opt for a fish meal. It's soft, flaky, takes minutes to cook and is super flavourful!

A Healthy Sehri

Every person needs good, nutrient-rich food that provides sufficient energy for day to day activities, and in no other time of the year is it more important than during Ramadan.

How I like my potatoes…

Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Scrub potatoes, pierce them with a fork and put them in the oven rack for 30-40 minutes until soft.

Breakfast and munchies for the World Cup

Watching a long cricket match can bring about hunger pangs. Waking up to catch an early game in the morning demands a sugar rush and a bit of good food to keep our tired eyes open, as well as keeping our tummies happy throughout the time.

New Year’s Finger Food

New Year's Eve is here and those of us who are planning to have a bash at home are all planning menus. Sometimes we forget about the scrumptious finger food we can serve instead of just chips and dip. I'm planning to put things on sticks, shooter glasses and soup spoons this year!
