DREEK launches debut album
Hard rock band Dreek has been a crowd favourite at concerts for a good few years now, and have made their presence felt on radio and even live TV shows, but their first album – in the pipeline for a while, was finally launched yesterday.
The self-titled album was unveiled at the Russian Cultural Centre, Dhanmondi on April 24, with lively performances from several leading bands of the country, both before and after the launch. The album was launched by the President of BAMBA and veteran rock star of Miles, Hamin Ahmed.
The songs of the album, however, can be downloaded free of cost from www.dreek.co, while a Collectors' Edition will be available at themallbd.com.
A portion of the fund raised through selling of the album will be spent for the welfare of autistic children.
themallbd.com is the title sponsor of the album, while the album launch was partnered by Maker Events.
