Find joy in what you do - Shagota
Shagota has become a well established TV actress ever since she came into the public eye with an appearance in “You Got the Look” pageant. She shares with her fans what she does in her free time and has a special message for them:
What was the last film you watched?
Shagota: A wonderful Iranian film called "A Separation".
Favourite weekend plans?
Shagota: I don't have fixed weekends as my work schedule is unpredictable, but on my days off I make impromptu plans according to my whims and moods. Ever since I got married recently I end cleaning up my house during my time off, and spend time with my family, especially my siblings.
What is your favourite breakfast on a weekend?
Shagota: During my time off I prefer to sleep in, and most of the time I don't wake up until lunch time. But I do follow a routine of eggs and milk.
What is your best childhood memory?
Shagota: I have lots of 'bests' in my life. However, all of them are shared with my father and the wonderful moments we spent together. After school, my father would pick me up and take me everywhere with him on his motorbike, and teach me songs on the way. That is how I first learned to sing.
What did you want to be when you were a child?
Shagota: I wanted to be so many things when I was growing up! First I wanted to be a pilot, then a news anchor, then a TV host. Finally, I wanted to become a singer, but unfortunately I couldn't succeed there.
A word of advice for your fans?
Shagota: Our work must be what we are most passionate about. Find joy in what you do, for when we die this will be the legacy we leave behind.
