Art camp “Banglar Mati, Banglar Jol” concludes
A three-day art camp titled “Banglar Mati, Banglar Jol” recently concluded at Bishwo Shahitto Kendro, Dhaka. Sponsored by Queenies Art, noted artist Nasima Khanam Queenie organised the art camp that had 19 participating artists. Artists depicted the bucolic beauty, the charming grace of six seasons, marvelous landscapes incorporating hills, rivers and cityscape of Bangladesh in keeping with the title of the art camp.
The art camp was inaugurated by renowned artist Syed Abul Barq Alvi. Both noted and promising artists -- Abdul Mannan, Nasim A Nadvi, Nasima Khanam Queenie, Laila Sharmeen, Shamim Subrana, Ashraful Hasan, Uttam Kumar Roy, Azmeer Hossain, Anis Mamun, Reza K Chowdhury, Istiaque Talukder, Abdullah Al Bashir, Shohag Parvez, Shahnoor Mamun, Md. Mehedi Hasan, Zahangir Alom, Sultan Istiaque, Sourav Chowdhury and Fahmida Khatun took part in the art camp.
Every artist completed two beautiful artworks at the invigorating art camp.
Queenies Art has previously organised three group art exhibitions and two art camps. Queenies Art has also established an art gallery where solo and group exhibitions have been held.
