Watch out for Priyanka
Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who has featured in American TV show "Quantico" and Hollywood film "Baywatch", has said that she wants to break the stereotype about Indian actors in Hollywood and does not just want to be known as "spoof" there.
"You admire qualities of people...I admire a lot of people and I imbibe their best qualities. You have to find what is unique about you and the best version of yourself," she added.
The 33-year-old actress feels grateful to have been accepted in Hollywood and she now plans to create opportunities for Indian actors abroad.
Asked what her next plan is, she says she doesn't know as she has never planned her career. "I am very instinctive. I go by what comes my way. I don't know what is next but it will be something creative," she added.
Referring to media speculation about a rift in her friendship with Bollywood co-star Deepika Padukone, Priyanka said there is no change in the equation between them and maintained both of them are still pals.
Priyanka said she was not worried if India's Censor Board would clear "Baywatch" in which she plays a negative role.
Directed by Seth Gordon, "Baywatch" is based on the 1989 TV series of the same name. It will air next summer.
"I did "Aitraz", "Saath Khoon Maaf"....I enjoy playing the villain and that's why I did "Baywatch". But it's a comedy film," she said.
