ACC to sue 2 Teletalk officials

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) today approved the filing of a case against two officials of the state-run mobile phone operator Teletalk.
The officers are former assistant manager (system operation) SM Tarek Rahman and former assistant manager (market development) Sabibur Rahman, alias Shiplu.
The approval came at a meeting of the anti-graft body at its office.
"A case will be lodged against the duo within a day or two for embezzling around Tk 100 million," said ACC Public Relation Officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya.
According to the ACC sources, Deputy Assistant Director of ACC Md Hafizur Rahman has investigated the matter and many evidence were found against them in the primary investigation. That is why the ACC has decided to file a case against them.
