ACC to scrutinise 9 officials’ FF certificates
The Anti-Corruption Commission will scrutinise freedom fighter certificates of its nine officials including a director general in the wake of forgery by the government officials in obtaining the certificates.
The anti-graft watchdog came up with the decision yesterday at a regular meeting at ACC office in Dhaka in response to an instruction from Ministry of Liberation War Affairs, ACC Commissioner Mohammad Shahabuddin told The Daily Star today.
A two-member committee has been formed to conduct the enquiry, he said.
The ministry has issued a circular to the anti-graft body asking to conduct the enquiry.
