5 indicted in Himu murder case
A Chittagong court today indicted five people including prime accused Shah Selim Tipu and his son Junayed Ahmed Riyad in the Himadri Majumder Himu murder case.
Himu, an A-level student of Summerfield School and College in Chittagong, succumbed to his injuries on May 23 in 2012, 26 days after he was assaulted and pushed off a four-storey building.
Framing charges against the five accused, Chittagong Metropolitan Sessions Judge SM Mojibur Rahman fixed February 18 for starting trial in the case, reports our Chittagong correspondent.
The three other indicted persons are Jahidul Islam Shaon, Shahadat Hossain and Mahbub Ali Danny.
Of the accused Tipu and Shahadat are behind the bar while the rest three remain absconding.
