30 hurt in Rajshahi polls violence

At least 30 people including Awami League, BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami activists were injured in separate sporadic clashes during polls in Durgapur and Godagari upazilas of Rajshahi this morning.

More than 10 people were injured when the supporters of Awami League and BNP-Jamaat confronted near a polling centre in Durgapur.

Twenty more people including several women and local people sustained minor injuries when law enforcers chased AL, BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami supporters in front of Rajbarihat High School polling centre in Godagari.
