3 kids suffer blast injuries in capital

Three children sustained injuries as a crude bomb exploded at Lalbagh in Old Dhaka this morning.

The injured -- Rifat, 4, Saida, 8, and Sultana, 10, -- were whisked off to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).

The three kids notice a paper bag at Namapara area around 8:30am.

As they tried to open the bag, it exploded with a big bang, Inspector Mozammel Haque, in-charge of DMCH police camp, told The Daily Star.
