BSF guns down Bangladeshi in Tentulia

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) shot dead a Bangladeshi cattle trader on Tentulia border yesterday morning.

The dead was identified as Zia, 35, of Tentulia crossing.

Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) and local sources said the Indian border guards of Haftiaganj camp opened fire on a group of Bangladeshi cattle traders when they were returning home from India.

Zia died instantly while the other traders managed to flee. The BSF troops took away the body.

BDR strongly protested the killing and asked its Indian counterpart to return the body.
