Among the injured, Yasin, Nasima and Afzal were rushed to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital while Wazid, Sabjal, Sirena, Jalal, Firoz and Aurongo were admitted at Mohanpur Health Complex.

Sources said the clash occurred when Idris, an influential figure of the area, along with his accomplices went to encroach a piece of land that belonged to one Yasin Ali.

Both the groups swooped on each other with bamboo sticks that injured at least 15.

On information, police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
