Associate Professor Moloy Kumar Bhowmik of Management Department filed a general diary (GD) with Boalia Police Station.

Moloy Kumar told The Daily Star that a PBCP man identifying himself as "Dada Tapon" phoned him to give them Tk 5 lakh or face death.

When contacted, Proctor Enamul Haque said they informed the police and took necessary steps.
