Mohammed Javed clinched the weekend Active Chess title held at the Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room yesterday.Javed finished with five points in the daylong event, edging Mahtabuddin Robin, Minhajuddin Sagar, Aminul Islam Palash and Hasan Imam, who also collected five points but fell behind in progressive score. A total of 38 players took part in the competition.
