22 missing as trawlers capsize in Bay

Twenty-three fishermen went missing after four trawlers capsized in the Bay due to heavy current triggered by monsoon depression on Monday night.Sources said the trawlers with 38 fishermen on board were caught in strong current near Narikelbaria and Dimer Char areas and capsized. Fifteen fishermen were rescued by other trawlers, while the rest remained missing as of 6:00pm yesterday.
