Biman flight schedule worsens

Flight schedule of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Ltd collapsed as technical and logistic problems delayed four flights bound for different destinations by 30-50 hours. "The flight situation turned worse in the last two days," a Biman source said last night. A Biman Airbus reached Dhaka from Kuala Lumpur yesterday noon about 40 hours behind schedule. A Dubai bound Biman flight from Dhaka finally took off yesterday evening, delayed by 50 hours. An Abu Dhabi bound flight, which was scheduled to take off from Zia International Airport Monday evening, could not do so till last night. Moreover, a Riyadh bound Biman flight scheduled for Monday evening was likely to leave at 11 last night.
