Summit Power, IIDFC sign MoU
Summit Power Limited and IIDFC (Industrial and Infrastructure Development Finance Company Ltd) have signed a memorandum of understanding under which IIDFC will act as the lead arranger for raising fund of Tk 3.88 billion through a debt instrument namely, zero coupon bond, says a press release.Tauhidul Islam, managing director of Summit Power Limited, and Mahmood Malik, managing director of IIDFC, exchanged documents after signing the MoU. Md Matiul Islam, chairman of IIDFC, was present. Ayesha Aziz Khan, director of Summit Power Ltd, Syed Fazlul Haque, director of Summit Power Ltd, Faisal Khan, engineer of Summit Power Ltd, Mahmud Hasan, company secretary of Summit Power Limited, Kh Shafiqur Rahman, head of Structured Finance of IIDFC, and ASM Arif, manager of Structured Finance of IIDFC, were also present. Summit will implement 110MW power plant under the banner of Special Purpose Companies, owned by Summit Power Ltd.
