PKSF, Practical Action to work on poverty alleviation
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) and Practical Action Bangladesh on Sunday in Dhaka to cooperate with each other in the field of poverty alleviation by utilising new ideas and technology, says a press release.

According to the MoU, Practical Action Bangladesh will provide assistance for disseminating information on pro-poor appropriate technology to PKSF for expending its poverty alleviation efforts.

Dr MA Hakim, general manager (Administration) of PKSF, and Veena Khaleque, country director of Practical Action Bangladesh, signed the agreement on behalf of their organisations.

Parveen Mahmud, deputy managing director, Fazlul Kader, deputy general manager, and Gokul Chandra Biswas, manager, of PKSF were also present. From Practical Action, Abdur Rob, team leader (Markets & Livelihood Program) and Mohammed Ali, team leader (Vulnerability Reduction & Natural Resources Management) were present.
