Khondoker Rashidul Huq, former director general of the Department of Environment, Abul Kalam Md Shamsuddin and Apel Mahmud were elected vice-chairmen while Shafique Alam Mehedi, joint secretary of communications ministry, was elected general secretary of the club.

Other office-bearers are joint secretaries -- Md Ajmal Kabir, M Khalid Mahmud and Md Shamsul Huq; and treasurer -- Prof Kabir Uddin Ahmad Majumdar.

And the members are Ferdousi Khan, Kazi Qaiyum Shishir, Iffat Ara Nargis, Ashrafunnesa Khan Rosy, Maj (retd) AKM Reazul Islam Bir Bikram, Md Akhterul Alam, AJM Ziaul Haque, Shahinul Islam, Md Ansar Ali Khan, MA Mannan, Md Bazlur Kabir Bhuiyan, Masud Mannan, Dr Azizul Karim and Syed Mahfuz Ahmed.
