Appeal for help
Kamal Uddin, a bright student of Chittagong University, has been suffering from cancer since 2005, says a press release.

He fell ill when he was taking preparation for his final examination.

Despite being struck down by the disease, he secured first class in his masters examination.

Kamal was feeling well after taking treatment from Thakurpukur Cancer Hospital but he relapsed a few days back.

Doctors said he needs immediate treatment which will involve an amount of about Tk 20 lakh.

But his father, who is a retired shipping officer, is unable to manage such a huge amount of money.

So he has made a fervent appeal to the well-off people of the society for financial help to save the life of his son.

Contributions can be sent to Nurul Huda, Account No SB 34009904, Standard Bank, Jubilee Road Branch, Chittagong.

Interested persons can also contact him over cell phone no 01813-388391.
