Senbagh poura chairman gets four yrs’ RI

A Noakhali court yesterday sentenced Senbagh Pourasava Chairman and upazila BNP General Secretary Shah Alam Chowdhury to four years' rigorous imprisonment and fined him Tk 10,000 for embezzling relief corrugated iron (CI) sheets.He will have to serve further six months behind the bar if he fails to pay the fine. Special District Judge Mohammad Kawsar gave the verdict after a long hearing.
