Abahani's last match today


B. League champions Abahani will give their fans the chance to watch their today's match against Muktijoddha for free.

The last league match for both sides, which kicks off at 4.15 pm at the Bangabandhu National Stadium, will be telecast live by ATN Bangla.

However, the club did not mention how would it pay the due of Bangladesh Football Federation -- seven percent of the total ticket sales. It was learned that Abahani officials have not talked with the authority about their decision.

It was also learned that the clubs have been irregular in their payments to the B. league authority.

Abahani, who began their campaign against the same side on March 2 in the opening match of the country's inaugural professional football league, have secured the title after beating Sheikh Russel 2-0 last Friday and will look to end with a win in their home match.

The Reds, who shared points in a goalless draw with Abahani, have a chance to finish third if they win.

Tickets for VIP gallery, however, will cost Tk 50.
