Abandoned newborn dies at DMCH

A newborn baby girl was found abandoned in a dirty bag at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) last night, medical sources said.The visitors informed it to the nurses of a nearby ward when they found the baby on the stair of the ground floor of the hospital at about 11:25pm. The nurses rushed the baby to the emergency ward from where doctor referred her to the Baby Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The girl died on the way to ICU, hospital sources said.
