The visiting handball teams from Hyderabad had mixed fortunes on the opening day of their Bangladesh tour yesterday.The men's team from the South Indian state Andhra Pradesh lost 31-23 to national champions Bangladesh Rifles but their women's team defeated recently national crowed BJMC 22-15 in the two friendly matches. Both the matches were held at the Mirpur National Indoor Stadium. The Bangladesh Handball Federation has organised the 'Goodwill Handball' matches which will also be played today against different local teams.
