In the crucial penultimate round, Mohammedan travel to Khulna in a must win situation against local Abahani, the bottom-table side who have proved difficult to beat at home.

Mohammedan, three points behind their Dhaka archrivals Abahani, cannot afford dropping points with just two rounds remaining in the competition. Even maximum six points would not suffice for the black and whites if Abahani collect four points from their two games.

However, top-of-the-table Abahani who are on 41 points, face the daunting task of meeting two teams they have not beaten this season.
