Mass hysteria

Mass hysteria is spreading in an alarming way, putting people in danger, especially the school-going children. Several incidents have been reported, and public health administration is terming this outbreak as mass hysteria. The apparent characteristics of this disease are:1. This disease spreads among the school-going children. 2. It is confined to the suburban and village schools. 3. Most of the victims are girls. 4. It is found among the pre-adolescence boys and girls. 5. Socially and economically backward places are more vulnerable. 6. Scientists or doctors could not trace out viral or bacterial or any other distinct cause behind it other than malnutrition, anxiety, gloomy weather and physiological distress. However, we are anxiously waiting for proper governmental steps regarding this mysterious disease. Mass awareness is needed to combat it.
