Journo, his accomplice get 17 years’ RI

A Noakhali court yesterday sentenced two persons, including a journalist, to17 years' rigorous imprisonment in an arms case.The two convicts are Mohammad Hanif, district representative of the daily Manabjamin and his accomplice Ferdous, a notorious robber. Judge Mohammad Abdul Hye Miah of the Second Additional District and Session Judge's Court handed down the sentence in presence of the convicts.
