Holding tax of martyred, injured FF families to be waived

The government has decided to waive holding tax of the injured and martyred freedom fighters' families living at their own houses under different municipalities of the country.According to an official handout, the waiver, given under Section 57(1) (c) of the Municipal Ordinance-1977, will be effective for maximum 1,000 square-feet houses. The Local Government Division under the LGRD and cooperatives ministry issued a circular to this effect for the convenience of all concerned, the handout said.
