Release of Hasina demanded

Leaders of Saudi Arab chapter of Awami League (AL) yesterday urged the caretaker government to release AL President Sheikh Hasina immediately and unconditionally.They also demanded withdrawal of all 'false' cases against her. In a statement signed by AKM Mozammel Haque, general secretary of Saudi Arabia unit of Bangabandhu Parishad, threatened to stop sending remittances to Bangladesh if their demands are not met. Staff correspondent from Chittagong adds: A total of 515 lawyers of Chittagong District Bar Association in a statement also demanded immediate release of Hasina.
