Hasina mentioned to the media that during her administration people could buy a litre of edible oil for Tk 28. I am just wondering whether she knows the current price of edible oil in the international market. I am puzzled as to why no journalist asked her if she could offer the same at this point in time. I would kindly ask her to stop these cheap talks to confuse people. If she can offer edible oil at Tk 28 per litre to the consumers, then I would advise this caretaker government to give her the sole responsibility to do so.
