Indian, Chinese trade teams arrive July 21, 22


Two separate high level trade delegations from India and China will arrive in the city on July 21 and 22 respectively.

Indian State Minister for Commerce Jairam Ramesh will arrive to attend the launching ceremony of the India-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI) on July 21. He will also attend a roundtable on Sunday.

The Chinese economy and trade delegation led by Assistant Minister for Commerce Wang Chao will attend a ceremony for signing goods purchase contracts between businessmen from the two countries.

Wang will join a meeting of Bangladeshi and Chinese entrepreneurs and the contract signing ceremony at Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in the city.
