Jt forces earned public support for fighting graft

Chief of Army Staff General Moeen U Ahmed yesterday said the joint forces in operation have already earned massive support and kudos from common people for resisting corruption in the country."With corruption, a nation cannot go ahead and prosper. That's why there is no compromise on corruption," said Gen Moeen while addressing army personnel at a meeting at the local stadium in the morning. The army chief arrived at the stadium at 8:30am. He was received by GOC of Comilla Major General Abdul Hafiz, Commanding Officer of Chandpur district Lt Col Mostafizur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner Monirul Islam and Police Superintendent Obaidur Rahman Khan.
