12 wagons of goods train derail in Mymensingh

Twelve wagons of a Jamalpur-bound goods train from Akhaura derailed near Shambhuganj Biska Railway Station in the district early hours of yesterday.Railway sources said the train service resumed at 1:00pm today after the relief train had salvaged the wagons from the track at 12:55pm. The train communications were disrupted for nine hours on Mymensingh-Mohanganj-Bairab route due to derailment.
