A mother!

It was quite moving to read Sheikh Hasina's open letter written as a "mother" seeking to give company to her pregnant daughter living in the US. Many mothers like me would surely sympathize with the sacrifice she had to make in depriving her children for the sake of the nation. Hasina should use this opportunity to realise what pain she had caused to mothers like us when living in the same city many of us could not visit our pregnant daughters because of the non-stop or lagatar hartal she so recklessly imposed upon us. She has our sympathy as a mother but not any support for what she and the other lady did to many mothers like us.
