Train derails near Bhairab Rail Station

Rail communications between Akhaura and Mymensingh was disrupted for four hours after a compartment of a cargo train derailed at Shambhupur Rail Station near Bhairab Rail Station yesterday noon.Bhairab Rail Station sources said a compartment of Mymensingh-bound derailed at about 12:30pm at Shambhupur Rail Station, causing damage to 300 yards of rail track. Rail communications resumed at about 4:30pm.
