The story revolves around an idealistic schoolteacher, Hasan, who is respected by all. His younger brother Masud is quite meritorious. After the demise of their parents, Hasan struggles to support his brother's education. Masud eventually goes abroad and settles there. After years, Masud comes back to the country with his family. Masud is eager to get his daughter, Naila, married to his brother's son, Ridoy. Ridoy is working on a cure for cancer. Situation gets complicated when Naila and her mother disagree to the marriage.
