Prothom Alo and Banglalink arranged the anti-drug concert to generate awareness on the disastrous effects of drug addiction among the youth. Renowned bands along with celebrities from different spheres performed at and attended the event. Among media personalities present were filmstars Manna, Ferdous, Riaz, Mousumi, Purnima and model Nobel. Ankan Siddiqui of Banglalink, Anisul Haque (assistant editor of Prothom Alo), novelist Emdadul Haque Milan, and psychiatrist Mohit Kamal spoke on the issue of substance abuse and its evils. The concert featured performances by LRB, Souls and Prometheus and others. Abdun Nur Tushar was the MC of the concert.
