Thirteen teams, split into four groups, are taking part in the meet to be held at the Outer Stadium kabaddi court and the Dhanmondi Women's Sports Complex.

The four group champions will qualify for the semifinals.

The Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation will run a training camp with 25-30 promising players for preparation for the next Indo-Bangla Games scheduled for January 2008.

TEAMS
Group A: Tangail, Narail and Khulna.

Group B: Dhaka, Jamalpur, Manikganj and Gaibandha.

Group C: Narayanganj, Rangamati and Munshiganj.

Group D: Rajshahi, Faridpur and Madaripur.
