Night guard of kitchen market strangulated


A night guard of a kitchen market was strangulated by unidentified miscreants in the city in the early hours of yesterday.

He is identified as Mofizuddin Dhali, 55, a resident of Purbo Jurain.

Some butchers of Mirur Bazar at Jurain found the body in front of a meat shop at 4:30am.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Sir Salimullah Medical College Morgue for autopsy.

Dhali has two sons Nuruzzaman and Nur Ahmed who are also listed criminals in the area.

Shyampur police suspect that the rivals of his sons might have killed Dhali.
