Mofizur Rahman, former secretary and chairman of Mofizur Rahman Foundation, handed over the money to Dhaka Ahsania Mission President Kazi Rafiqul Alam at its office at Dhanmondi in the city.

Tk 5 lakh has been donated for one bed in memory of Mofizur Rahman's late sister Sultana Rahman. The remaining Tk 5 lakh will be kept as FDR and its profits will be used for the treatment of poor cancer patients.
