EDIM EXPO-07 opens July 12

The 7th Education and Immigration Exposition (EDIM EXPO) -2007 opens in the city on July 12. The five-day- long exhibition will be held at Bashundhara city where information about admission to different public and private universities will be available. Over 70 local and foreign universities, education institutions and related service providers will take part in the biggest ever education exhibition. Conference and Exhibition Management Service (CEMS) will organise the exhibition at Bashundhara Expo Centre where about 90 booths will be set up for providing students and their parents with necessary information on courses, programmes and facilities offered by different private universities and other educational institutions. Prof SMA Faiz, vice-chancellor of Dhaka University, will inaugurate the exhibition as chief guest. The exhibition will remain open from 10:00am to 8:00pm everyday. The Daily Star and Radio Foorti are the media partner and the Prothom Alo is the web partner of the exhibition. Ahead of the exhibition, CEMS held a press conference yesterday at a local hotel where CEMS Managing Director Mehrun N Islam and Director Shahid Sarwar spoke.
