BSWA honours Roquibul, Hannan

Bangladesh Sports Writers Association (BSWA) yesterday accorded reception to former national cricket captain and sportswriter Roquibul Hassan and veteran journalist Hannan Khan of ATN Bangla.BSWA accorded the reception to mark the World Sports Journalists Day 2007, which was observed in the country yesterday with enthusiasm. Sports Adviser Tapan Chowdhury was the chief guest at the reception held at the National Sports Council (NSC) conference room. Golam Quddus Chowdhury, executive director of Transcom Beverages, was present as special guest. BSWA president Sarwar Hossain presided over the function while general secretary Aminul Haque Mallick gave the welcome address.
