Police said chairman of Borobaria Union Parishad Ohiduzzaman Panna, also Jubo League vice-president of Chitalmari upazila, demanded Tk 1 lakh in toll from UP member M Masud while he was implementing some development projects in the union. Later, Masud gave him Tk 20,000.

Masud filed a case against three people, including the UP chairman, on Thursday.
