Heroin seized

A team of Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) seized 500 grams of heroin worth Tk 50 lakh from a Khulna-bound mail train on Thursday night. According to BDR sources, the team led by Lt Col Nur Alam raided Uttara mail train at Phulbari rail station at 10:00pm, and seized the heroin from a compartment.
