BNP leader, his brother arrested in Benapole

Members of the Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested Sharsha BNP Vice-President Shamsur Rahman and his brother Habibur Rahman, a Jubo Dal leader, yesterday on charges of corruption.Sources said a team of Rab-6 arrested them during a raid on the house of Shamsur Rahman at Benapole at dawn. Shamsur Rahman is also the president of Benapole C & F Agents Association and his brother Habibur Rahman is a UP chairman.
