Ex-chairman of BRTC Toymur sued for cheating

BNP leader and former chairman of Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) advocate Toymur Alam Khondoker was sued for cheating yesterday.Mohammad Fazlul Haque, a leader of Dhaka Light Vehicles and CNG-Autorickshaw Owners and Workers Association, filed the case with Paltan Police Station in the city. In the case statement, the complainant mentioned that in May, 2003 the accused pressurised him to include 50 fake names in the list of 200 deprived petrol-run autorickshaw drivers who were entitled to get CNG autorickshaws. Fazlul Haque also alleged that later Taimur Alam took the 50 CNG autorickshaws. Joint forces arrested Toymur on April 18 from his Gulshan residence.
